On March 26th, ERSUC held its annual General Assembly, where the main activity indicators, management report, balance sheet and accounts for the 2025 fiscal year, as well as perspectives for the year 2026, were presented. The figures presented by the ERSUC Board of Directors to all shareholders, also evidenced in the 2025 Report & Accounts, demonstrate the positive evolution of the service, with a 5% increase in Selective Collection compared to 2024. Since 2015, the Trifuxo Selective Collection (yellow, green and blue recycling points) has made significant progress: plastic/metal +76%, glass +41% and paper/cardboard +108%.

Selective collection maintains positive trend and energy produced from waste exceeds 500 GWh. EGF, the leader in urban waste treatment and recovery in Portugal, recorded significant progress in its main operational indicators in 2025, particularly in the treatment and recovery of biowaste and selective collection, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, innovation and operational efficiency.

The Mota-Engil Group is deeply saddened to announce that António Mota, the Group's long-standing leader who served as its chairman for more than 27 years, from 1995 to January 2023, passed away this morning in the city of Porto. The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2025 takes place between November 22nd and 30th, with a special focus on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), a rapidly growing stream with a strong environmental impact. The initiative also aims to promote the essential principles of reduction, reuse, and recycling, encouraging citizens, public and private entities to adopt more sustainable practices.

ERSUC informs that there will be a temporary change in the urban waste reception service at the Gois Transfer Station, from 25 August to 19 September 2025, Monday to Friday, when it will close at 4 pm, due to a change in workers' hours. The Station should maintain normal operation on Saturdays.
